Bernadette (born Bernadette lazzara, 28 February 1948) Peters is a popular American singer-songwriter and author of children's literature from Ozone Park Queens New York. Over the course of her career, which spans over five decades, she's appeared in musical theatre film and on television, along with performing in solo concerts and recordings. The actress was nominated, and she won three Drama Desk Awards. Grammy Awards have been won through four Broadway recording of cast performances in which Peters has appeared. Peters started her acting career on stage in 1960s as an teen, then later in 1970s in television and in film. Her early performances, appearances on The Muppet Show The Carol Burnett Show as well as on television, and in other projects were praised. She also received praise for the roles she played in movies like Silent Movie The Jerk Pennies from Heaven and Annie. She returned to Broadway in the late 1980s where she became the most well-known Broadway actor for the next 30 years.
