Bernadette Dezzara (born 28 February 1948 at Ozone Park Queens New York) is famous as an American performer, actress and writer of children's stories. She's had a lengthy career that spans more than five decades. She has performed in shows, made solo recordings and appeared on television. She has received seven Tony Awards nominations, two that she took home, and 8 Drama Desk Awards. The four Broadway casting albums in which she has starred have been awarded Grammy Awards.
