Bernadette and Jen

Bernadette, born in 1948 is an American actor, singer and children's author. Her birth was in 1948. Through an extensive career spanning five decades she has starred in musical theatre film and TV shows and has also performed as a solo artist and recording. She is among Broadway's most acclaimed performers. The actress was nominated in seven Tony Awards (winning two) She also took home the award of eight Drama Desk Awards. Grammy Awards went to four Broadway Cast Albums in which she was a part of. Peters initially appeared in the theatre when she was a kid, and later as an actress in her teenage years during the 1960s as well as in films and television in the 1970s. Apart from her appearances in The Muppet Show, The Carol Burnett Show, and in other TV work she also earned praise for the roles she had played in Annie and Silent Movie. The 1980s saw her return to the stage and became one of the most well-known Broadway stars over the next three decades. Her singles have been released in addition to six solos, many casts albums, and regularly performs solo concert acts.
